Chateau Pape Clement, one of the oldest estates in Bordeaux, has a rich history dating back to the 13th century. Owned by Bernard Magrez, the estate is known for its meticulous vineyard management and innovative winemaking techniques. The vineyard is managed with a focus on sustainability, employing practices such as grass growing between the vines, manual harvests, and the use of animal traction. The winemaking process includes manual destemming, gravity flow transfers, and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels, followed by 18 months of aging in French oak barrels.
