Description

The 2016 Rauzan-Ségla is blended of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot aged in 60% new and 40% one-year-old barrels for 18 months. Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, it sings of lifted red and black cherries, black raspberries and cassis with a rose hip tea and lilacs undercurrent plus sparks of tobacco, pencil shavings and tilled earth. The palate is medium-bodied, elegant and mineral laced with firm, fine-grained tannins and beautiful freshness, finishing with great length and depth.

品飲筆記:露仙世家 2017 帶著雅緻又討喜的果香,前段有黑紅果的果醬感,接著飄出紫羅蘭與些許香草、煙草與香料氣息。酒體屬中等,酸度清爽帶動口腔,單寧細緻如絲,口感圓潤但結構分明,尾韻綿長且帶礦物感與輕微烤桶香。 酒莊與產地:露仙世家為波爾多名莊(第二級列級),現由時尚集團持有,酒莊注重田間管理與分地塊栽培,園裡的土壤以粘土與礫石交錯為主(第四平台的粘土-礫石、細砂粘土等),賦予酒款優雅的礦物感與條理分明的結構。 釀造與熟成:每個地塊獨立發酵、以重力入罐,使用不鏽鋼恆溫槽控制發酵溫度。成酒於法國橡木桶中熟成約18個月,並在桶中以蛋白澄清,處理上非常講究,目標是保留果味同時讓單寧與酒體達到絲滑平衡。 口感提示:入口先是飽滿果實感,隨即展現優雅花香與煙草底蘊,酸度帶來活力,單寧溫潤但有支撐力,適合先醒瓶45分鐘再飲,也非常適合搭配烤牛排、燒羊或熟成乳酪。整體輕鬆卻不失深度,適合想要既優雅又有層次的一瓶經典波爾多。

Tasting note: Fresh and floral on the nose, this Margaux opens with raspberry preserves, redcurrant and mulberry, before revealing delicate violet and spicy tobacco notes. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine mineral thread, silky, well-integrated tannins and a tensile, long finish that lingers with black-fruit and biscuity oak echoes. Producer notes: The estate describes 2017 as a subtle, sophisticated vintage—stone fruits and candied strawberry sit alongside perfumed tobacco, fig and gentle cinnamon. Texture is soft and unctuous, stretching out with a measured liveliness and maturity. Winemaking notes: Parcels are vinified individually and even intra-parcel, moved by gravity into temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine spent 18 months in French oak; fining was done with egg whites in barrel to refine texture. Vineyard notes: Vines are planted on a mix of clay–gravel soils from Terrace 4, fine sandy-clay gravels and sandy-clay sites, contributing both mineral lift and refined tannic structure. Harvest ran from 12 September to 2 October in 2017, under the stewardship of the estate now owned by Chanel. Why buy: A textbook Margaux showing both finesse and depth—approachable now with decanting but built to reward medium-term cellaring.
