Sommelier's notes: Aromas of blackcurrant and dark berries weave with graphite, cocoa and a cool minty lift. On the palate it is full-bodied and focused: ripe core fruit cushioned by firm, chalky tannins and a lively spine of acidity that keeps it lit. The oak is elegant—coffee and light toast rather than overt vanilla—leading to a long, savoury finish.

Winemaking & vineyard: Hand-harvested into small crates, native yeast fermentation in stainless steel and concrete vats with daily pump-overs to extract colour and structure. Matured about 12 months in oak; traditional, low-intervention approach that favours terroir expression. Produced in Haut-Médoc from vines managed for balance and concentration.

Occasions & service: Best after 1–1.5 hours decanting for immediate glass pleasure, or cellar for further development across the next decade. Perfect for a special home dinner — pan-seared ribeye, roast lamb or a bold cheese board.
