A classic Meursault expression from the Sous la Velle lieu-dit, this 2021 shows a plush, inviting nose of ripe pear, baked apple and lemon zest framed by toasted hazelnut and warm spice. On the palate it is rich and silky, with a buttery mid-palate, fine mineral thread and a core of orchard fruit kept fresh by balanced acidity. Gentle oak influence provides structure without overpowering the wine; élevage on fine lees adds creaminess and length. Drink now through the mid-2030s with light decanting to open the aromatics. Produced by Domaine Boisson Frère et Sœur (Anne Boisson/Boisson‑Vadot), vineyards are low-yield, sustainably managed plots on clay-limestone soils that give this wine its depth and mineral underpinning.
