2021 Domaine Anne Gros Vosne Romanee Les Barreaux

The 2021 Domaine Anne Gros Vosne-Romanee Les Barreaux is a wine of remarkable character and depth. This higher altitude Vosne-Romanee showcases a deep color, attributed to the iron-rich dark soil of the vineyard. The wine offers a captivating balance of freshness and maturity, with pronounced black fruit flavors such as wild blackberry and blueberry, complemented by spicy notes of pepper. The mineral undertones add complexity, while the elegant and sappy texture makes it a delight to savor. Traditional vinification methods and careful barrel aging for 16 months in new oak contribute to its refined structure and excellent aging potential.
