This 1999 vintage from Domaine Armand Rousseau is a testament to the unique terroir of the Cote de Nuits region. The wine is mineral, incredibly delicate and fine with an exquisite expression of its terroir. The vineyard, exclusive to the Domain, lies on a level with Le Chambertin appellation. The rocky terrain and barrenness of the soil lend a light, nuanced colour to the wines as well as a fine, elegant body. This wine is best enjoyed after a decanting time of 2 hours and pairs well with red meat, game, and poultry.
