A polished Meursault from Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur, the 2022 Clos du Cromin opens with lifted white-flower and citrus peel aromas followed by ripe pear, a hint of honey and toasted almond from careful oak ageing. On the palate it is juicy and lively, underpinned by refreshing acidity and a light, uncommon tannic grip that gives structure without harshness. Matured in small oak barrels (about 20% new), the wine shows a creamy mid-palate, gentle spice and a saline, persistent finish—balanced and ready to enjoy now but with enough backbone to cellar a few years.
