This 2021 from Domaine Curry opens with dense cassis and blackberry compote, layered by cedar, vanilla and toasted spice from generous oak. Domaine Curry Wine is a small-producer operation in Napa Valley focused on hillside sites and hands-on winemaking. Fruit is picked selectively at peak ripeness, fermented in small lots and aged primarily in new and lightly toasted French oak to build structure and spice. The team favors careful extraction to preserve fruit while layering oak-derived vanilla, cedar and toast.
