1999 Domaine Fourrier Chambolle Musigny 1er Gruenchers
Elegant and intense red fruits with flavors that offer essence of pinot and the acidity is a little edgier here than in the first two wines. The flavors are elegance personified wrapped around a core of rich fruit that beg for 6 to 8 years of cellar time, assuming of course any bottles survive the first few years as it's already delicious. If you were searching for a bottle to show someone what a classic Chambolle-Musigny is like, this would be a good candidate. AM 86-88
