2019 Domaine Jacques Cacheux Vosne Romanee Aux Reas

A graceful Vosne-Romanée that balances floral elegance with savory earth — refinement you notice from the first sip.

【Why choose it?】
1) Village terroir with precision -> Delivers polished red-fruit clarity and mineral lift without heaviness.
2) Small-scale domaine care -> Hand-managed parcels and attentive élevage give tight focus and ageing potential.
3) Versatile dining wine -> Shows warmth and structure for roast meats yet remains delicate enough for refined pairings.

【Sommelier's Private Note】Silky red berries and rose petal on the nose open into a core of raspberry and sweet spice, then settle into an undercurrent of forest floor and subtle oak. Tannins are fine-grained; acidity keeps the palate lit. Drink now with gentle decanting to reveal mid-palate depth, or cellar a few years for more tertiary complexity.

【Occasion / Pairing Guide】Weeknight roast duck that wants refinement; celebratory steak when you need elegance instead of power; cheese course with aged Gruyère.

【Competitive Edge】Compared with large-label Burgundies, this Domaine Jacques Cacheux bottling offers focused Vosne character and impressive finesse at a comparatively attractive price point — boutique attention without boutique snobbery.
