A benchmark Premier Cru Monopole nestled directly in front of the historic estate, this cuvee captures the sheer finesse and dynamic energy of Chassagne-Montrachet's classic limestone-clay terroir. Matured with precision in oak barrels (30% new) for 14 to 18 months, the wine delivers a striking harmony between power and transparency. The bouquet unfurls with layers of ripe blackcurrants, crunchy morello cherries, and exquisite violet aromas, underpinned by nuances of forest floor and crushed rock minerality. On the palate, vibrant acidity energizes a concentrated, focused core enveloped by velvety, finely integrated tannins. The 2021 vintage brings tension and crystalline freshness, culminating in a persistent, savory, and delicately spiced finish. An authoritative, compelling red that overdelivers on sophistication and aging potential.
