Tasting Note: Bright, focused and elegant — citrus zest and green apple open the glass, then a wave of wet stone, sea-salt and white flowers unfolds. Mid-palate shows fine chalky texture with hints of toasted almond and a clean, incisive backbone that carries through a long saline finish. Producer Notes: From Domaine Testut, a family domaine working small parcels in the Grenouilles Grand Cru. The site’s Kimmeridgian limestone imparts signature minerality and natural salinity, and yields are tightly controlled to concentrate flavour and freshness. Winemaking Notes: Fruit is hand-harvested, gently pressed and fermented cool to preserve aromatic clarity. The wine spends time on fine lees for texture with limited use of neutral oak/older barrels to add subtle mid-palate weight while keeping primary fruit and tension intact. Vineyard Notes: Grenouilles’ steep, mineral-rich slopes and low-yield vines produce concentrated grapes with pronounced minerality and aging potential. This vintage balances youthful energy with structure — ready to enjoy from the mid-drinking window but well suited to short-term cellaring.
