2018 Dominus Estate (1500 ml)

The 2018 Dominus Estate Christian Moueix is a profound and powerful wine that exemplifies purity and elegance. With aromas of sweet blue fruit, jasmine, and cardamom, this wine offers layers of plum and caramel on the palate. The polished tannins and complex structure lead to a very long finish with lift and acceleration. This wine is a vivid expression of its unique site, reflecting the purity, complexity, and character of grapes grown exclusively from the Napanook vineyard. The 2018 vintage started late, with a harvest that was 12 days later than average, resulting in deep, complex, and well-articulated wines. Minimalist winemaking practices, including thorough cluster sorting and gentle pump-overs, allow the true personality of each lot to shine through. Aged in 20% new barrels, this wine will continue to improve with age, making it a perfect choice for cellaring.
