酒莊與田地：Beaucastel 長期被視為法國名莊之一，佩漢家族自1960年代起全面採有機栽培；110公頃的單一園區位於產區北緣，表層為滾石礫石，下層有沙、黏土與石灰，老藤根系深入，受馳名的米斯特拉爾強風影響，風土鮮明且有良好排水與成熟節奏。

釀造工藝：各地塊與品種皆人工採收並分開釀造；針對氧化傾向的批次採傳統瓷磚水泥槽發酵，偏還原的則於短身橡木桶處理，完成乳酸發酵後入大型法國橡木大桶（foudre）熟成約一年再調配裝瓶。這種細緻分離與整體合併的做法，造就了層次豐富且穩定的風格。

建議：建議醒酒約一小時即可大幅提升表現；可立即飲用也耐陳。搭配烤羊、辛香肉類或成熟硬乳酪最為合拍。

Château de Beaucastel's 2020 is a textbook expression of its unique northern Châteauneuf site: deep, concentrated and yet distinctly fresh. Aromas of black and red fruits are threaded with garrigue, cracked pepper, tobacco, hints of smoked bacon and mineral lift. On the palate it is full-bodied and layered — juicy fruit, bright acidity and fine, firm tannins give structure while silky textures keep the wine fluid and approachable. The estate farms organically for decades on a single, pebble-strewn plot whose deep soils and Mistral exposure produce wines with depth and longevity.

Producer notes: Beaucastel is widely regarded among the great wines of France for its balance, elegance and ageing potential. The Perrin family has grown all authorized varieties organically here since the 1960s, allowing old vines to develop deep roots in sand, clay and limestone beneath the surface pebbles.

Winemaking: Each variety is hand-harvested and vinified separately. Reductive varieties see truncated oak barrels, while oxidative varieties are fermented in traditional tiled cement tanks; after malolactic fermentation the blend matures in large French foudres for about a year before bottling. The result is a wine with both tannic backbone and Mediterranean savoury complexity.

Cellaring & service: Drink now with an hour’s decant for best immediate pleasure, or cellar through the 2030s. Serve at 16–18°C.
