Description
A 55-45 blend of Grenache and Syrah, the 2016 Gigondas Laurus was a bit subdued compared to how I remember it showing last year from barrel. Vanilla and baking spice notes accent ripe cherries and stone fruit on the full-bodied, velvety palate. Give it a couple of years to bounce back from bottling, and drink it over the next decade.
