The 2014 Louis Roederer Cristal Millesime Brut is a harmonious Champagne, with a satiny mousse that caresses the palate. It offers a bouquet of white peach and acacia blossom aromas, accenting the flavors of poached apple, gingersnap biscuit, pastry cream, and spun honey. The wine is still young, with a dry, tight core of intense flavors shot through with minerality from the pure chalk soil. The finish is long, revealing a rich grainy and velvety texture that is wrapped in a long, saline and superbly elegant finish. This wine is best enjoyed from 2025 onwards.
