色澤為溫潤琥珀，香氣先是柑橘皮和蜂蜜果香，接著是香草莢、溫和的橡木香與淡淡巧克力味。入口圓潤飽滿，太妃糖與果乾的甜感與暖香料交織，酒精感在48.6%下仍然柔和、有層次。收結綿長、帶有烘烤過的木香與悠長的香料尾韻。

酒莊小檔案：麥卡倫出身於高地，隸屬Edrington集團，長年以精選橡木桶調配出具有標誌性木質風味著稱。Litha屬無年份款，強調桶香與果香的平衡，既親切又耐人尋味。

釀造與熟成：沿用傳統銅製壺式蒸餾，熟成於經心挑選的橡木桶，讓酒體厚實但不失明快。原料大麥多來自高地附近耕地，農田環境涼爽有利於培育穩定的麥芽風味。建議淺斟慢飲，先在杯中靜置約二十分鐘讓香氣完全展開，再細細品味。

Colour: warm amber. Nose: gentle citrus peel and honeyed orchard fruit rise first, followed by vanilla pod, soft oak spice and a hint of dark chocolate. Palate: round and generous, carrying toffee and dried fruit layered over warm baking spice and subtle oak tannin. The alcohol is present but well integrated at 48.6% ABV, lending structure without overpowering the fruit-driven core. Finish: long, warming and slightly toasted, with lingering sweet spice and clean citrus echoes.

Producer notes: From The Macallan, part of the Edrington portfolio, Litha reflects the distillery's focus on oak cask influence and careful maturation. Small-batch single malt crafted to showcase rich oak-derived notes balanced with orchard and citrus characters.

Distillation & maturation: Distilled in traditional copper pot stills and matured in a selection of seasoned oak casks to build depth and texture. No age statement; the whisky aims for approachability with complexity — inviting both newcomers and seasoned sippers.

Field & sourcing notes: Barley is sourced from partner farms in the Highlands and neighbouring regions, malted and mashed with an attention to producing a clean, fruit-forward spirit that marries well with the cask programme. Best enjoyed neat, with a splash of water or after a short rest in the glass to open the aromatics.
