品飲筆記：酒色深沉，初聞有黑櫻桃、紅醋栗與黑莓果醬的果香，後段綻放紫羅蘭與淡淡香草、雪松與薄荷清氣。入口中等偏豐滿，果實濃郁卻不膩，酸度保持活力，單寧緊實有嚼感，餘韻帶礦物感並延伸良久。

釀造工藝：採用法國橡木桶陳年，桶齡經過搭配以帶出香料與雪松層次但不壓過花香與果味。發酵與浸皮控制得宜，保留新鮮感的同時帶出結構感。瓶塞封瓶，乾型風格且結構分明。

葡萄園與口感：葡萄來自石灰與砂質良好排水的園塊，日夜溫差與適中成熟度讓果實飽滿但保留酸度。口感上有絲滑感與顆粒感並存，單寧有支撐力，整體優雅且耐喝，配餐表現出色。

Tasting note: A deep garnet core leads to a perfumed nose of crushed redcurrants, blackberry preserves and kirsch, layered with violet, lavender, cedar and a hint of menthol. The palate is medium–full, showing seamless freshness and concentrated dark- and red-fruit layers framed by a firm, chewy tannic backbone and a lingering mineral-tinged finish.

Producer notes: Le Petit Cheval is the second wine from the renowned Château Cheval Blanc estate. Managed under Pierre Lurton and owned by Albert Frère and Bernard Arnault, the property applies meticulous vineyard work and thoughtful cellar choices to produce a wine that mirrors the house style—elegant, floral and precise—while offering earlier approachability.

Winemaking notes: Fermented and matured in French oak, the 2020 vintage saw careful extraction to balance concentration with freshness. Aging in new and seasoned barrels adds spice, cedar and subtle toast without overwhelming the wine’s aromatic lift. Bottled under cork, the wine is dry with pronounced structural elements.

Vineyard notes: Sourced from Saint-Emilion parcels on the estate, the wine reflects a terroir of well–drained soils and attentive viticulture.
