Remy Martin VSOP
Remy Martin VSOP
Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. Fine Champagne Cognac is a classic expression of the House’s style—elegant, rounded and richly aromatic. Visually it shows a vibrant gold hue. The nose opens with warm vanilla, ripe apricot and baked apple, followed by subtle candied-fruit and spice. On the palate layers of butterscotch and soft mocha lead into ginger and black pepper warmth, with an intriguing mouthwatering saline note and gentle oak-driven caramel. Crafted from eaux-de-vie sourced from the Fine Champagne area and matured in oak casks, this VSOP balances freshness and maturity to remain versatile: ideal neat in a tulip glass, slightly rested for 10–20 minutes to let aromatics bloom. Producer notes emphasise complexity and elegance—Rémy Martin’s long tradition of selection and blending yields a consistent style built for both immediate enjoyment and contemplative sipping. Serve at cellar-warm temperature (around 18–21°C) and pair with rich desserts, aged cheeses, roasted nuts or a smoked meat board.
