Tasting note

品飲筆記:打開杯蓋是一股清爽的檸檬皮、葡柚與香草草本香氣,隨後浮現白桃與微微辛香。入口果汁感十足、酸度俐落,酒體有一定厚度與細緻口感,尾韻帶些礦物與淡淡橡木香,整體平衡又有層次。 酒莊與釀造:這款白酒出自 Valandraud 團隊的實驗與匠心,從2000年開始在原有園區旁栽種白葡萄,採取手工三次分揀,採收後先冷藏,再進行長時間壓榨(約五小時),於橡木桶中發酵與陳年,追求細緻與複雜度而不犧牲新鮮度。 葡萄園與風土:來自南西向斜坡的黏土—石灰岩地塊,日照與排水條件良好,幫助果實達到成熟與酸度的平衡,成就帶礦物感且口感乾淨的風格。 飲用建議:即飲已佳,未來數年仍會演變(建議飲期 2024–2032)。冰鎮後享用口感更清爽,可先醒約20–30分鐘讓香氣更立體。搭配油脂豐富的海魚、甲殼類或風味奶酪都很合適。

Tasting Note: Bright citrus and floral notes lead — think lemon, grapefruit and a touch of lemongrass — layered with white peach and delicate spice. The palate is lively and textured, driven by fresh, racy acidity, with a subtle flinty minerality and gentle oak framing the finish. Producer Notes: A project born from curiosity and ambition, the white cuvée from the Valandraud team is treated as a haute‑couture creation: painstaking plot selection, multiple tastings and final blending right before bottling ensure each vintage reveals its personality. Winemaking: Hand‑harvested with three selections, fruit is precooled in a cold room before a long press (around five hours). Fermentation and élevage take place in barrels, adding texture and a light toasty oak influence while preserving fresh fruit clarity. Vineyard: Sourced from clay‑limestone soils on south‑west facing slopes, the vines benefit from good drainage and sun exposure that balance ripeness and acidity. Cellaring & Serving: Ready to enjoy now but will develop through the window 2024–2032. Serve well chilled (10–12°C); a short 20–30 minute decant/airing allows the aromatics to open and the oak to integrate.
