The Lanessan vineyard has belonged to a succession of eight generations of the Bouteiller family and is one of the oldest estates in Bordeaux. It has been highly regarded in its early history, however Lanessan did not submit any wines to be classified in 1855🧐; later it was considered a Cru Bourgeois. 🎊
