Ch. Latour has been one of the most unique and consistent of Bordeaux First Growth. Beginning in 1989, the chateau started to produce a more affordable third wine, Pauillac de Latour.

The annual production of Pauillac de Latour is limited to 1/10 of Ch. Latour. It is made from young vines, only 20% new oak and typically consists of nearly 45% Merlot. It allows the wine to mature earlier than its Grand Vin. 2015 is a classic vintage, with fragrant notes of cassis, baked blackberries, licorice, cedar, cigar box and earth. The wine has soft tannins and finishes with compelling purity. Drinkable right now!
