【Sommelier’s Notes】
Deep garnet in the glass. Initially reserved, it opens to dark cassis, black cherry and graphite, then drifts into tobacco, cigar wrapper, clove and a delicate cedar lift from French oak. On the palate it is medium‑plus to full, muscular but elegant — firm, fine grain tannins underwrite the core of savory dark fruit and mineral spice. The finish is long, focused and slowly reveals tertiary leather and earthy notes with more time in the glass.

【Winemaking & Vineyard】
Harvested late September to mid‑October after a season of good ripening and low yields; lots are fermented separately and macerated up to three weeks. Matured at least 18 months in carefully renewed French oak to preserve the terroir expression. The estate’s multi‑generation care in Saint‑Julien gives the wine its recognizable balance of power and restraint.
