Producer notes: Maison Krug, founded in 1843, is famed for its obsessive attention to blending and long ageing. The 2008 vintage showcases Krug’s signature style—depth from reserve stocks, fine mousse and an autolytic, toasty core built in-house over years of cellar maturation.

Winemaking notes: Hand-harvested parcels from top crus were vinified with precise oak and stainless regimes; a high proportion of reserve wines and prolonged lees contact create the creamy texture and nutty, baked-bread aromas. Low dosage keeps the palate dry and focused.

Vineyard notes: Grapes were sourced from selected plots across Champagne’s premier sites with chalky soils and cool climate influence—resulting in bright natural acidity and distinct mineral lift.
