The palate is focused and steely, driven by lively acidity and a chalky, mouth-coating texture that carries flavours to a long, refreshing finish. Producer notes: Chateau de Beru crafts wines in the classic Chablis style from parcels on the Montserre slope. The estate emphasises site expression and purity, releasing wines that show the cool-climate precision and mineral backbone of the region. Winemaking notes: Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, pressed gently and fermented in stainless steel to preserve fruit clarity. The wine spends time on fine lees for texture and complexity, with no dominant new oak influence to maintain freshness and terroir expression. Vineyard notes: Montserre sits on classic Kimmeridgian-laced soils—limestone, clay and fossil-rich marl—under a cool continental climate moderated by local waterways.
