品飲筆記:酒色淡金、光澤明亮,杯中先以檸檬皮與成熟杏桃、蜂蜜香打頭,接著浮現礦岩火石感與一絲煙燻、薰衣草花香。入口豐滿圓潤,果實飽滿但被清爽酸度支撐,礦感與鹹味提升了整體張力,尾韻帶點堅果與微苦的餘味。
酒莊與田地:Y 為酒莊的一款珍稀小量釀造,選自與 Château d'Yquem 同一塊卓越風土,但以不同手法處理。園中工作極為細緻,人工挑選果串,產量稀少(年產約一萬瓶),追求既有豐富度又保有現代白酒的清新俐落。
釀造與陳年:在極為謹慎的採收時機手工採摘,萃取時講求香氣與酸度的平衡,裝入橡木桶陳年約12個月以帶來結構與層次但不掩蓋鮮活感。整體風格偏乾、有紋理、非常適合配餐。建議開瓶前先醒一段時間,或短期窖藏以發展更複雜的香氣。


Tasting note: Pale gold with a clear brightness. The nose opens with ripe citrus, apricot and honeyed notes over a core of flinty, stony minerality and a whisper of smoke and lavender. On the palate the wine is richly textured yet precise: concentrated orchard fruit and nectar are balanced by vibrant acidity and fine saline-mineral lift, finishing long with a slightly nutty, savory note.
Producer & vineyard: Y is a deliberately rare bottling produced from the same outstanding terroir and vines as Château d'Yquem but vinified differently. Historically made from late-harvest bunches with varying botrytis, the style evolved to emphasise freshness and crispness; since 2004 it has been produced annually in very limited quantities (circa 10,000 bottles).
Winemaking & ageing: Grapes are hand‑selected from meticulously worked parcels and picked at moments chosen for optimal ripeness and aromatic balance. The wine is fermented and matured in oak (approx. 12 months), a regime that preserves clarity and texture while adding subtle tertiary complexity. Dry in style with a modern profile — concentrated but brisk and food-friendly.
Cellaring: Drinking window spans decades; approachable now with aeration but will develop further complexity with careful cellaring.
