2000 Chateau Leoville Barton

來自聖朱利安的經典二級酒莊,這瓶2000年酒體厚實但紮實有力。香氣以黑果、李子為主,夾帶雪松、煙草、皮革和一抹森林泥土氣息;入口飽滿、果香濃郁,中段豐滿而有脂肪感,單寧仍然明顯但顆粒感細緻,酸度拉出結構與活力,尾韻柔和而悠長。酒莊沿用人工採收、精細分地發酵(溫控木槽)、約三週浸皮,之後分批入法國橡木桶陳年16–18個月(約六成新桶),地塊位於佳績的加龍河礫石小山丘,土壤排水佳、以傳統耕作為主。若現在開瓶建議醒90分鐘;配燒牛排、烤肋排或濃郁風味的成熟硬奶酪最搭。語氣不做作,喝得到古典波爾多的骨架與陳年潛力。


A textbook Saint‑Julien from a classified estate — concentrated, framed and very ageworthy. On the nose: dark cassis and black plum with cedar, tobacco, leather, graphite and a violet/balsamic lift. The palate is dense and full‑bodied, with firm, grainy tannins and a fleshy mid‑palate supported by bright, balancing acidity. Oak influence is present but integrated after long élevage, leaving spice, vanilla and fine cedar behind. Made with meticulous, all‑hand harvest and plot‑based vinification, alcoholic fermentation runs 7–10 days with ~3 weeks maceration; the wine matures 16–18 months in French oak (≈60% new). The estate’s Garonne‑gravel hilltop soils and traditional ploughing deliver concentration and structure. Decant for about 90 minutes if drinking now. Ideal with richly flavoured red meats and mature cheeses. Classified 2ème Grand Cru Classé; long drinking window for further cellaring.

Château Léoville Barton is a historic Second Growth estate in Saint‑Julien renowned for a classic, ageworthy style. Long in the Barton family, the property sits on prime Garonne gravel hilltops and favours traditional viticulture and careful, plot‑by‑plot vinification. The wines are routinely hand‑harvested, patiently extracted and matured in French oak to build structure and longevity.
