Perched at 2,200 feet above the fog line on Howell Mountain, Outpost Estate produces some of Napa Valley's most dramatic and highly coveted mountain reds. Crafted under the watchful eye of legendary winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown, this 2019 vintage showcases the sheer power and pristine purity of high-altitude fruit. Grown in iron-rich, red volcanic soils, the berries develop exceptionally thick skins and intensely concentrated flavors. In the glass, it pours a deep purple, bursting with vibrant aromas of crushed dark berries, plum, graphite, and a hint of sweet spice. On the palate, it delivers a rich, full-bodied structure supported by muscular yet seamlessly integrated tannins and energetic acidity that keeps every sip lively.
