An unpeated single malt from Bruichladdich that showcases Scottish-grown barley and the distillery’s signature style. Nose: a fresh hint of sea-spray and saline air sits alongside punchy fruit, floral notes, vanilla and gentle oak. Palate: creamy and malty with honeyed sweetness balanced by tangy citrus and a pleasing salinity — think lemon peel, ripe stone fruit and melon with a dash of herbal spice and soft oak. Finish: long and harmonious, where fruit and sea-spray linger against warm American-oak spice.

Producer & production notes: This bottling is made entirely from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled and matured predominantly in American oak casks. It is classed by the distillery as their signature expression, deliberately unpeated to highlight barley character and terroir rather than smoke. The spirit is bottled at 50% ABV and closed with a T-top cork.

Vineyard/field notes: The barley comes from Scottish fields — maritime influence and cool growing conditions contribute freshness and a saline edge that is evident in the final dram. The result is a bright, coastal-style Islay whisky without the heavy peat smoke.

Service suggestion: Enjoy neat or with a splash of water; allow the whisky to breathe in the glass for about 10–15 minutes to open up florals and fruit. Pairs especially well with seafood, lightly smoked dishes and richer cheeses.
