Tasting note: Glen Grant 12 shows a bright, floral nose—lily of the valley and spring blossoms—followed by orchard fruits like green apple and pear drizzled with butterscotch. The palate is surprisingly oily yet light-bodied, offering toasted almonds, vanilla sugar and a touch of coconut and gingerbread spice. A gentle citrus thread lifts the mid-palate while sweet oak and refined toasted-nut notes lead to a polished, lingering finish.

Producer notes: Crafted by the Urquhart family at the Glen Grant distillery in Speyside, this single malt is part of the house core range and exemplifies the distillery’s clean, floral character. Bottled at standard ABV, it's presented unpeated to preserve bright fruit and floral elements.

Distilling & maturation: Made from malted barley and pure Speyside water, the spirit was matured for 12 years in selected oak casks, developing vanilla, toffee and gentle oak spices without overwhelming the fruit profile. The cork stopper preserves aromatics while offering classic presentation.

Vineyard/terroir notes (distillery context): Hailing from Speyside, the distillery benefits from soft local waters and a cool-temperate climate that help produce a delicate, aromatic spirit. The influence of the oak is balanced, giving structure and sweetness while allowing the distillery’s signature floral and orchard-fruit notes to shine.
