酒廠與背景:響由三得利於1989年推出,為紀念公司90周年而誕生,旨在展現日本威士忌的調和之道與工藝精神。大師精選系列強調調配技藝,將多款麥芽與穀物威士忌精心合而為一,塑造層次豐富的風貌。
釀造與陳年:本款以橡木桶熟成,經由嚴選酒桶與匠人般的拼配(marrying)提升香氣與口感的細膩度。瓶口採用玻璃塞(Vinolok),在保存香氣與質感上更為講究。

Tasting Note: Amber-hued and alluring, this limited Master’s Select blend opens with syrupy plum and a bouquet of roses over a sweet, oaky backbone. The palate unfolds orange marmalade and rich dark chocolate tempered by a gentle bitterness; spices and wood frame a lingering interplay of sweetness and bright acidity.
Producer Notes: Created by Suntory to embody “The Art of Japanese Whisky,” Hibiki celebrates a meticulous blending tradition launched in 1989 for Suntory’s 90th anniversary. This expression is a carefully orchestrated union of numerous malt and grain whiskies, showcasing the house’s craftsmanship and reverence for balance.
Winemaking / Production Notes: Matured in oaked casks, the whisky benefits from thoughtful cask selection and expert marrying, producing layered aromatics and a polished mouthfeel. Bottled with a Vinolok glass closure, it presents a refined texture and stable aroma profile.
Vineyard / Ingredient Context: Rather than vineyards, Hibiki draws on carefully sourced malt and grain whiskies from Suntory’s distilleries and pure water sources. The focus is on provenance, cask aging and master blending to create complexity and harmony.
