2021 Masi Brolo di Campofiorin

Bright and generously flavoured, the 2021 Brolo di Campofiorin opens with an inviting bouquet of ripe red cherry, plum and warm baking spices, underpinned by cocoa and subtle leather. On the palate it shows plush, concentrated fruit, rounded acidity and velvety tannins that give structure without overpowering — a full-bodied, modern Veronese red with a long, spicy finish. Produced by Masi Agricola under the stewardship of Sandro Boscaini, this bottling reflects careful vineyard selection from hillside sites around Verona and a winemaking approach that blends tradition with refinement. Grapes are handled with precision, often benefiting from partial drying and controlled fermentations before ageing in a mix of large oak casks and smaller barrels to add depth and spice. Best served after a short decant to open aromas and soften the tannins.
