【Winemaker & Vineyard Notes】
From a selection of McLaren Vale sub-regions (Blewitt Springs, Clarendon, McLaren Flat, Seaview, Tatachilla, Willunga Hills) on sand-based maritime/sedimentary soils. Vine ages vary 15–60 years; the proximity to the sea lifts aromatics. Ben Perkins crafts the wine with careful oak maturation to give spice and grip while keeping the fruit glossy.

【Sommelier's Private Note】
Dark blue fruits and boysenberry lead, then warm clove and star-anise spice. There’s an old-school oak tannin that tightens with air—decant for an hour to let the saline lift and the tannins open. Feels broad and generous on the palate but finishes with serious grip; great if you want power with poise.
