A generous McLaren Vale red showing cascading blue-fruit aromatics—think blueberry and black plum—lifted by a coastal saline note and a dusting of black pepper and oak spice. The palate is broad and concentrated with plush, velvety tannins, juicy mid-palate drive and a long, satisfying finish. Made from fruit across Blewitt Springs, Clarendon, McLaren Flat, Seaview, Tatachilla and Willunga Hills on predominantly sand-based soils, vines range from 15–60 years old and sit at 75–320m elevation. Matured in oak, this wine balances ripe, warm-climate richness with a lifted aromatic clarity. Winemaker Ben Perkins and viticulturist Travis Coombe craft it for early pleasure with aging potential through the window 2025–2032. Best enjoyed after a short decant to open its layers.
