Tasting note: Louis XIII opens with a profoundly complex bouquet — figs, prunes and dried apricot layered with honeyed floral notes, warm vanilla and deep toasted oak. Secondary notes of rancio, pipe tobacco, roasted chestnuts and truffle emerge with air, leading to an endlessly long, elegant finish. Mouthfeel is satin-smooth and richly textured, revealing successive waves of flavor.
