Subtle notes of vanilla and toasted spice from gentle oak aging frame a saline, mineral-tinged finish. Producer notes: Made by a small, hands-on estate focused on site expression and minimal intervention. The team emphasizes careful picking and small-lot fermentation to preserve primary fruit while adding measured complexity. Winemaking notes: Fermented in small vessels with a portion matured briefly in seasoned oak to add texture rather than dominate. Malolactic fermentation is partial, contributing roundness without sacrificing freshness. Light lees stirring gives the wine a silky mouthfeel. Vineyard notes: Fruit comes from cool, well-exposed blocks with moderate yields. Soils are mixed with good drainage, encouraging concentrated flavours and vibrant acidity. Sustainable farming and late-but-timely picking preserve aromatic lift and balanced ripeness.
