A concentrated Clare Valley expression from Two Hands that balances ripe dark fruit with savoury graphite and spice. Aromas open to generous blackberry and black-plum compote, layered with cracked black pepper, dried herbs, cedar and a touch of dark chocolate. The palate is dense and mouth-filling — plush core of black fruit, fine-grained yet supportive tannins and a streak of savoury, earthy spice that keeps the wine lively. Matured carefully in oak to add complexity without overwhelming the fruit, this vintage shows polished structure and a long, peppery finish. Ideal to decant before serving to let the aromatics fully breathe.

Two Hands Wines is a respected Clare Valley producer known for focused single-vineyard bottlings and meticulous vineyard work. Under the stewardship of owner Michael Twelftree and the winemaking team led by Ben Perkins, the estate looks to capture site expression through careful canopy management, low yields and hands-on cellar techniques. Vineyard manager Travis Coombe oversees the parcels that deliver the concentrated, structured fruit characteristic of their lineup.
