Sommelier's Notes: The 2018 Napanook opens with mineral-tinged black fruit and a hint of wet earth, moving into tobacco, marjoram and candied orange peel. Mid-palate is focused and medium-bodied with firm, finely grippy tannins and a saline lift that keeps the finish lively. Drink now with 60–90 minutes decant or cellar through 2036 for added depth.

Winemaking & Vineyard: From a single, estate-grown hillside site with cool morning fog and well-drained soils. Harvested in early October, hand-sorted and optically sorted, fermented with gentle extraction and racked by hand every three months. Oak maturation lends framing spice without masking terroir.
