2019 Outpost True Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Howell Mountain

A Howell Mountain single‑vineyard expression — mountain concentration, mineral nerve and long ageing potential.

【Why this bottle?】
1) High‑elevation single‑site fruit -> intense concentration and superior ageing pedigree.
2) Low‑yield, hands‑on farming + careful oak maturation -> textural suppleness without losing energy.
3) Top critical acclaim (Wine Advocate 100, Spectator 94) -> instant confidence for cellar or special nights.

【Sommelier's notes】Layered dark berry fruit (blackberry, cassis, blueberry) threaded with violets, licorice and a graphite/mineral seam. Toasted oak and cedar provide structure while firm, polished tannins give grip. The palate is dense yet focused — core of concentrated fruit, cool mountain minerality and a persistent, savoury finish.

【Occasion / Pairing】Decant 60–120 minutes. Pairs beautifully with dry‑aged steak, roast lamb shanks, Korean BBQ or rich game stews. Perfect for milestone dinners, collectors’ tastings or a rooftop BBQ that needs a wine with backbone.

【Competitive edge】Compared with big‑name Napa icons, this bottling offers single‑site intensity and critical pedigree at a more accessible price point — small production, terroir‑driven and built to age.
