Bright, refined and classically textured, this Grand Cru opens with a core of ripe red and dark cherries, raspberry compote and a hint of dried rose petal. Beneath the fruit sits a savory layer of forest floor, sweet spice and crushed stone minerality. On the palate it is silky and concentrated — fine-grained tannins support plush mid-palate depth while freshness keeps the finish lifted and persistent. From a renowned Gevrey-Chambertin domain, the wine reflects careful vineyard selection and traditional Burgundian élevage: hand-harvested fruit, measured extraction and maturation in French oak that frames but never overwhelms the primary fruit.
