2022 Domaine Fabien Coche Chassagne Montrachet Blanc

A poised and elegant white from Chassagne-Montrachet showing ripe orchard and stone fruit layered with citrus peel, gentle vanilla and toasted oak. The palate is silky and rounded — creamy mid-palate texture with fresh, balancing acidity and a chalky mineral thread that carries a long, refined finish. Producer notes: made by Domaine Coche-Bizouard, a family-run estate known for parcel selection and terroir expression in the Cote de Beaune. Winemaking notes: hand-harvested fruit is gently pressed and fermented partly in oak with careful lees contact and moderate élevage to build texture without overwhelming the wine’s brightness. Vineyard notes: sourced from cool, limestone-influenced sites in Chassagne-Montrachet with low yields and attentive viticulture to concentrate flavour. Best enjoyed after a short aeration to open the aromatics.
