田地位於暖而排水良好的斜坡,石灰質土壤幫助果實結構緊緻、風味集中。採收時注重產量控制與果實健康,讓酒在年輕時就有吸引人的果香,陳年後則會顯現更多堅果與蜂蜜的層次。飲用建議先醒30–60分鐘,約從2027年開始進入最佳飲用期。
A refined Meursault Premier Cru from Les Caillerets, the 2023 bottling by Fernand & Laurent Pillot shows the classic combination of richness and precision. On the nose there are notes of ripe white stone fruit, citrus zest, toasted almond and a touch of honeyed spice. The palate is silky and generously textured — rounded, buttery mid-palate framed by bright acidity and a stony mineral thread that carries through to a long, resonant finish.
Producer notes: From a family-run domaine highly regarded in Meursault, this cuvée expresses the steep, limestone-rich terroir of Les Caillerets with finesse. Yields are managed to concentrate flavour and the team prioritises gentle handling in the winery to preserve purity and energy.
Winemaking: Fermentation and élevage take place in French oak barrels with careful maturation on fine lees to build texture and complexity while avoiding aggressive oak influence. The approach favours balance — oak support, lees-derived creaminess and freshness in equal measure.
Vineyard: Les Caillerets sits on warm, well-drained slopes where soils lend ripe fruit concentration and mineral lift. Vines are tended with attention to canopy and yield; harvest decisions aim to capture bright acidity alongside developed aromatic richness. Drink from 2027 for early development, and enjoy through the 2030s as the wine gains patina and secondary complexity.
