Tasting Note: Bright red cherry and ripe raspberry lead the aromatics, joined by rose petal, a hint of forest floor and gentle clove spice. The palate shows silky texture, fresh acidity and fine, supportive tannins with a length marked by subtle oak spice and mineral persistence.
Producer Notes: From Domaine Michel Noellat et Fils, a small family domaine in Vosne-Romanée with a traditional Burgundian approach. 2023 produced modest yields and concentrated fruit; total production for the vintage was small (c.5,500 bottles).
Winemaking Notes: Carefully hand-sorted fruit matured in oak (measured use of new barrels) to preserve clarity and terroir. Fermentation and élevage focus on balance and texture, producing an elegant, age-worthy village wine.
Vineyard Notes: Vines are planted on classic Vosne slopes with limestone-clay soils that bring both finesse and a restrained mineral tension. Low yields and attentive viticulture emphasize ripeness and aromatic purity.
