A coastal Islay expression that opens on bold, peaty smoke tempered by sweeter notes of salty caramel, roasted hazelnut and warm vanilla. The nose carries a medicinal iodine thread and a hint of sea spray; the palate is oily and medium–full with leather and dried-fruit echoes, finishing long with oak spice and lingering brine. Produced by Laphroaig and assembled from Quarter Cask, PX, Triple Wood and older stocks, this No Age Statement single malt showcases the distillery’s trademark peat influence while adding layers of cask-driven sweetness and nuttiness. Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to release floral and leathery nuances; allow about 15 minutes in the glass to open up.
