Tasting Note: Golden-hued and unabashedly Californian, this wine opens with warm aromas of honeyed apple, hazelnut and a dusting of cinnamon. The palate is plush and creamy — rich baked-apple and tropical hints framed by vanilla and coconut from oak influence. Producer Notes: Crafted in the classic ripe, oak-driven style of its region, the Bodyguard emphasizes a full, buttery mouthfeel balanced by measured acidity. Winemaking Notes: Cold fermentations preserve bright aromatic precursors, while a blend of French and American oak (including a portion of new wood) and short maturation contribute to a silky, rounded texture and pronounced vanilla spice. Vineyard Notes: Fruit is sourced from coastal vineyards that benefit from Pacific cooling; the warm sun and coastal influence combine to develop ripe, tropical flavours and deep golden colour.
