Tasting note: Pale, light-green rim with lifted aromas of lime zest, green apple and a subtle honeyed thread. Underneath lies flinty smoke, graphite and pure slate minerality. On the palate it’s cool, juicy and very precise — brisk acidity, taut structure and a saline, lingering finish.

Producer notes: From the Haus Klosterberg bottling by Weingut Markus Molitor, this Kabinett trocken reflects the house focus on site expression and clean, energetic wines. Markus Molitor’s team selects fruit carefully from steep Mosel parcels to produce an elegant, food-friendly dry style.

Winemaking notes: Hand-harvested and gently pressed, fermentation is kept cool to preserve primary aromatics. Matured on fine lees for balance and bottled to highlight freshness and mineral clarity with minimal intervention.

Vineyard notes: Fruit comes from steep slate slopes in the Mosel with excellent exposure and old-vine concentration. Thin soils, cool climate and slate subsoils give the wine its bright acidity, tensile minerality and refined nervosity.
