酒莊與生產:拉弗格有著深厚的艾雷島釀造傳統,現在為 Beam Suntory 所有。這款16年威士忌全數裝入首填波本桶熟成,桶香提供香草與溫暖香料,同時保留了酒廠標誌性的煙燻個性。封口採用 T‑top 軟木塞。

Tasting note: A classic Islay profile—dense peat smoke and saline notes meet bright citrus and warm honeyed sweetness. On the nose, smoked salmon brushed with lemon and sea salt leads into a full palate of tropical fruit, barley sugar and peppery oak; dark chocolate and dry medicinal peat linger on a long, warming finish.
Producer notes: Distilled by Laphroaig and now part of Beam Suntory, this 16‑year expression is aged entirely in first‑fill bourbon casks, which lend vanilla and warm wood spices while preserving the distillery’s signature coastal smoke.
Winemaking/production: Made from malted barley, Laphroaig’s traditional floor‑malting heritage and peat fire drying impart the unmistakable smoky character. Matured for 16 years in first‑fill bourbon barrels, the spirit absorbs both sweet cask influence and restrained oak tannin at a robust 48% ABV. Bottled with a T‑top cork closure.
Vineyard/terroir notes: From Islay’s wind‑blown shores—peat bogs, salt‑laden air and small coastal barley farms shape the flavour. The maritime climate and local peat give this dram its medicinal, saline and smoky personality.
Serving suggestion: Serve neat or with a few drops of water, and allow 10–20 minutes in the glass to open up. Pairs superbly with smoked seafood, strong cheeses and dark chocolate.
