品飲筆記:香氣以紫羅蘭和黑色果實為主軸,帶出雪松、煙草與黑橄欖的底蘊,香料與香草的烘托使層次豐富。口感滑順、果汁感飽滿,單寧成熟但緊緻,酸度帶出清新感,收結長而帶煙草餘韻。酒莊與產區:杜霍酒莊坐落於瑪歌頂級砂礫地,園面積約65公頃(含55公頃葡萄園),土壤為第四紀深砾石伴砂黏土,密植程度高,利於濃縮風味。2009年夏季乾熱、晚間涼爽,果實達到理想成熟與健康狀態。釀造與陳年:採分地塊(plot)釀造,使用天然酵母、每天一次的輕柔泵皮,浸皮約21天,全程不添加外來助劑;陳年18個月,45–50%以新橡木桶完成,並有陶甕元素的輔助。搭配建議:建議醒酒一小時左右,適合搭配牛排、野味或成熟奶酪,口感更合拍。喜歡滑順果味與結構平衡的話,這支會是很舒服的選擇。


Tasting Note: Perfumed Margaux aromas of violet and black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry) open into layers of tobacco, black olive and gentle spice. The palate is medium–full, silky and juicy with ripe, well-knit tannins and a long, tobacco-tinged finish. Producer Notes: The estate describes an elegant marriage of floral, spicy, fruity and mineral nuances — balance between smoothness, freshness and power. Vintage & Vineyard: 2009 benefited from a hot, dry summer with cool nights, delivering exceptional ripeness and health in the fruit. The estate covers 65 hectares (55 ha under vine) on deep Quaternary gravels with a sand/clay matrix and high planting densities (6,600–8,300 plants/ha). Winemaking & Ageing: Plot-by-plot vinification with natural yeasts, soft extraction (pumping over once daily), 21 days maceration and no added inputs during vinification. Aged 18 months with 45–50% new oak; maturation includes oak and amphora elements. Serve with an hour to an hour and a half decant; pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted red meats and aged cheeses.

Château Durfort-Vivens is a classified Second Growth estate in Margaux. Under current ownership and management the property has focused on plot-specific farming and careful cellar work to regain and refine its classic Médoc expression. The vineyards sit on deep Quaternary gravels with sand and clay, planted densely to encourage concentration. Winemaking favors natural yeasts, gentle extraction and extended barrel ageing to balance power and elegance.
