Winemaker & Vineyard Notes: From the respected M. Chapoutier stable (Michel & Marc), the wine is made with careful hand-harvest, at least four weeks of extended maceration using punching down, and 18 months’ maturation in barrels. The parcels sit on clay, calcareous soils and schist — the result is a concentrated red with spicy, earthy complexity.

Sommelier's Private Note: Deep garnet in the glass, the nose opens to very ripe black fruits—blackberry and elderberry—woven with cracked pepper and garrigue herbs. On the palate it strikes with a confident attack, tight yet silky tannins and broad, warm mid-palate richness. The finish is long and slightly ethereal; food-friendly but compelling on its own.
