Tasting Note: Delicate floral honey and acacia blossom on the nose lead into a focused, vibrant palate. Stone fruit and lemon zest sit alongside a creamy, gently toasted oak character and a mineral thread that keeps the wine lively. Producer Notes: From Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur, run by Vincent and François Bitouzet, this Meursault Charmes is an expression of classic Côte de Beaune terroir—elegant, concentrated and poised for early drinking or short cellar ageing. Winemaking Notes: Fermentation and élevage include careful use of oak with a portion of new wood to build texture without overwhelming freshness; lees stirring adds creaminess and mid-palate density. Vineyard Notes: Sourced from the Charmes premier cru exposition, soils of limestone and clay provide minerality and structure; low yields and rigorous sorting ensure concentrated, ripe fruit and precise acidity.
